- General Information
The aim of this seminar is to develop the attendees' receptive and productive skills (reading and listening, speaking and writing respectively) required to master everyday communication in English, and thus gain the knowledge and confidence needed to become effective communicators in their daily lives. Primarily, the course is intended to extend the attendees' vocabulary and train them in the correct and accurate usage of a wide range of discourse markers.
The areas of study covered in the seminars include:
- Reading
- Listening
- Use of English
- Speaking
- Writing
Naturally, major emphasis is put on speaking and listening as these skills are essential to mastering the day-to-day communication as well as any further studies the students might want to pursue in the English language.
