- General Information
The aim of this seminar is to develop the attendees' receptive and productive skills (reading and listening, speaking and writing respectively) required to master business communication in German, and thus gain the knowledge and confidence needed to become effective communicators in the working world.
The areas of study covered in the seminars include:
- Reading
- Listening
- Use of English
- Speaking
- Writing
Naturally, major emphasis is put on speaking and listening as these skills are essential to mastering the day-to-day communication in the working world as well as any further business studies the students might want to pursue in the German language.
- Scope of Business Fundamentals
The Business Fundamentals series features a basic course on Business German intended to introduce the most essential vocabulary from business and finance to students eager to master areas such as types of business entities, marketing, market mechanism, HR, etc. The classes focus on a text-based teaching environment where students learn not only the words and phrases from business and economy, but also their natural use in context -- both written and spoken.
The series features about twenty sessions in total. The total number, however, may be extended based on the students' needs and wishes.

The syllabus will, of course, be adjusted to suit each student's individual needs and requirements.
